As mothers, we are often the emotional anchor of the household; helping everyone else stay calm, connected and supported. This is an incredibly important role, but it can also feel exhausting when we’re trying to respond to stress and dysregulation in the moment without the tools or space to reflect.
We understand that it can be difficult to step out of daily routines and create the time needed to learn new ways of supporting both yourself and your child. Real change often happens when we have the opportunity to pause, reflect and learn in a calm environment away from everyday pressures.
This learning intensive has been designed to provide a supportive, enriching space where you can deepen your understanding of:
- Your own nervous system regulation and how stress impacts your responses
- Your child’s regulation patterns, triggers and needs
- Practical strategies to support co-regulation at home
- Tools to build calmer, more connected interactions within your family
- Ways to create sustainable routines and responses that work in everyday life
Through a combination of individual and group therapeutic sessions, guided reflection, practical learning experiences and restorative activities, you’ll leave with strategies you can confidently implement at home.
We have two options:
- Our Day Program – access the full therapeutic learning program on the dates we run this as a day program during school hours.
- An Overnight Program – with additional time to reflect and reset in your own private room with ensuite accommodation.
Nourishing meals are provided, and the retreat environment is intentionally calm and welcoming to support learning, reflection and meaningful change.
This is more than time away; it is an opportunity to better understand regulation for both you and your child, and to leave with practical tools that support everyday family life.
