The Boys Trip is held in the January school holidays for 11 to 13 year olds. This overnight trip is a fun and relaxing way to build friendship and life skills in a supportive environment. The group of 10, will stay overnight in a house near the beach. Activities include fishing, beach games, cooking and much more! Parents will receive a daily newsletter with updates from the group.
Drop off/Pick up is from Cockburn train station. Drop off is at 10am. Closing ceremony and camp wrap up starts at 2:30pm on the last day of camp.
The Gaming Weekend Camp is held over a weekend in August for 11-14 year olds. There will be a focus of building social, regulation and independence skills with activities such as team games, cooking and discussions around healthy gaming habits. This camp will be tailored to support individual therapy goals, in a group context. The high level of support (1 adult to 2 children) allows for individualised in the moment support to learn skills, with added peer support as another layer to learning. This camp is a great chance to meet new people, and try some new activities!
Drop off time is at 3pm on the Friday of camp, and pick up is at 9:30am on the Sunday where we will all come together for a closing ceremony to wrap up the weekend. Pick up and drop off will both be from our accomodation in Scarborough. After camp we will be in touch to re-rate goals and to send out a brief summary letter from camp with your child’s camp goals, strengths, areas to develop, strategies and recommendations from camp.

Many children have difficulty with everyday skills such as listening, sitting still, staying focused, or joining in with others.
The Therapists at Calm and Connected provide mobile, clinic & online support to the adults surrounding a child and teach the child how to address the foundational skills that affect our ability to connect.
