Event Details
This face to face workshop provides families and supports with information on sensory processing presented by an Occupational Therapist from Calm and Connected. The workshop will explain what sensory processing is and how it affects our day to day life. We will then go through what can happen when a child has trouble with sensory processing and how this affects their behaviour, ability to learn and make friends. The second half of the workshop provides practical strategies and an opportunity for parents to map out a plan for how they can make changes at home or school. Numbers are caped at 20 places to allow for lots of discussion and chances to ask questions from the presenter.
We also have other face to face workshops that include the following topics:
- Self Regulation
- ADHD Practical Strategies
- Developing Social Skills
- Trying New Foods
- Anxiety
- Sleep
