Do you have a child that engages in one of these behaviours?
- Self-harm
- Suicidal thoughts
- Hurting peers
- Hurting self
- Hurting parents or caregivers
We have put together a workshop for parents and caregivers to provide practical information on how to understand what is happening and de-escalate a situation. Numbers are strictly limited to 10 places to allow for lots of opportunity to problem solve with the presenter.
Margaret Ho is a registered Clinical Psychologist. She has worked with children
of all ages and started her career at Princess Margaret Hospital. She is passionate
about helping children fulfil their potential. Margaret takes a ‘behaviour =
communication’ approach and truly believes that all behaviour has a function
and that it is purposeful. She takes her job to translate this behaviour into
meaningful communication seriously and strives to ensure that the children she
works with have a better way of communicating their needs without hurting
themselves or others around them.
We also have other face to face workshops that include the following topics:
- Sensory Processing
- ADHD Practical Strategies
- Developing Social Skills
