Keyword sign supports the child to be able to understand and use words in a range of environments. We invite you to join us for this face to face workshop to learn:
- How to be an effective communication partner
- Engaging children in language activities to improve language development
- Strategies to improve receptive and expressive language
Course Outcomes
- Learn basic Key Word Sign set 1 and 2
- Importance of using natural gesture
- Basic understanding of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and total communication approach
