Harriet Haining

Occupational Therapist

BIOGRAPHY

Harriet was born and raised in Fremantle. When Harriet is not working she finds herself trying a new craft hobby, cooking and spending time with friends and family. Growing up, she always had a natural inclination towards health and wellness, which led her to pursue a degree in Health Sciences at Curtin University. It was during her studies that Harriet discovered her true calling in occupational therapy, drawn by the profession’s holistic approach and its potential to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives.

Harriet began her journey at Calm and Connected as a final year student and stayed on with Calm and Connected as she fell in love with the profession and the approach of the practice. Harriet fosters a family-centered approach to care, working with parents, siblings and teachers. She thrives on working closely with these systems and children to provide education and coaching and delivering services that are not only effective but fun and connection-based.
