Creative Minds
Creative minds group is a warm, welcoming group where yound people can connect with like-minded peers in a relaxed and supportive space. Through art and creative activities, we’ll explore social and emotional skills in a hands-on, engaging way.
Each session uses creativity to bring peers together. It allows a safe environment to practice things like expressing ideas, building confidence, problem-solving and working with others.
Creative minds is for young people who enjoy creating, or who find it easier to open up and connect when they’re doing something practical and fun.
Goals of the group:
- Explore social and emotional skills through art and creativity
- Build awareness of our own regulation through body clues, stressors and strengths, and supports
- Discover and add tools to our own toolboxes such as mindfulness
- Learn how to be in the present moment to connect with ourselves and others

Running Term 2 and 3, 2026
Location: Calm and Connected HQ at 19B Erade Drive, Piara Waters
Time:
9-13 year olds 3.30-4.30pm
14-18 year olds 4.30-5.30pm
Dates: 8 week program held every term on Tuesdays. The group starts week 2 of term with the last group in week 9
Cost: $587.65 inclusive of:- pre-group goal setting phone call
- 8 hours of group sessions at a 1:3 ratio
- post-group summary letter and recommendations
