Documents that go out to families and the community are very valuable way of promoting the role of Occupational Therapy and advocating for the needs of a child. When you write something and hand it out it can have the power to make a difference in the way someone views a child or interacts with them. So although sometimes documentation can seem like the ‘boring’ part of therapy, it is often the part that lasts the longest and has the widest impact. Thats why we take a-lot of time, effort and pride in the reports and documents we create for families.
