APPROACH

Stephanie enjoys working with children, their families and teachers to help support them to achieve their goals. She loves to learn, and is continually reading and studying in order to be able to provide the families she works with the best information and therapy intervention. She has experience working in the areas of behaviour, self-regulation, sensory processing, trauma, attention and concentration, handwriting, gross and fine motor development and social skill development. Stephanie strongly believes that in order to help children achieve their goals, it is best to work collaboratively with the people around the child and to be flexible in the environments therapy takes place (including homes, school and in the community). Stephanie is creative with her therapy resources and loves coming up with new and innovative ideas for her therapy sessions.

Stephanie attended Camp Confidence in 2018 and loved the experience of the impact an intensive therapy camp experience can have for a child. Stephanie plans to attend Camp Jabiru as a practicum in 2019, under the guidance of Tracey Stackhouse.
