Regulation and Rhyme
Regulation and rhyme is run by an occupational therapist and speech pathologist. This group is for young children to learn how to sing, play and listen in a safe, supported space.
Goals of the group:
- For children to:
- develop their talking and listening skills
- learn how to be a part of a group and follow someones lead
- develop their transition skills
- learn how to play with toys and friends
- For caregivers to:
- learn therapy strategies to support their child
- meet other caregivers of children with similar needs
- gain confidence to attend community library rhyme time and engage with therapy services
Included:
- Pre goal setting phone call
- 1.5 hour group for 8 weeks with an occupational therapist and speech pathologist
- Post group review phone call
- Resources kit
- Post group summary letter and recommendations

Location: Calm and Connected HQ at 19 Erade Drive, Piara Waters
Time: Tuesdays 9:15am to 10:45am
Dates: 8 week program held every Tuesday, starting week 2 of term 4 2025
Age range: 2-5 year olds
