This face to face workshop is presented by Sue McCabe, Occupational Therapist who has been working in the area of sleep for a number of years. The workshop will go through what allows for good sleep, and sleep issues. The second half of the workshop provides practical strategies and an opportunity for parents to map out a plan for how they can make changes at home or school. Numbers are caped at 20 places to allow for lots of discussion and chances to ask questions from the presenter.

Read more about Sue McCabe: she is an occupational therapist, working as a clinician and researcher into sleep for people with developmental and neurological conditions. She was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2006 and travelled to the UK and Canada to learn from experts in the field of sleep for children with physical and behavioural difficulties. She has learned about ‘special sleep’ through the acclaimed Sleep Scotland, Southampton Sleep, and Sleepwise programs, and has been an invited contributor to sleep workshops and training in Canada, Holland, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, the UK and across Australia. Her passion is about ‘joining the dots and minding the gaps’ for good sleep for all – translating sleep and health research into practical applications for children and families in their real life settings.
