Event Details

Keyword sign supports the child to be able to understand and use words in a range of environments. We invite you to join us for this face to face workshop to learn:
  • How to be an effective communication partner
  • Engaging children in language activities to improve language development
  • Strategies to improve receptive and expressive language
Course Outcomes
  • Learn basic Key Word Sign set 1 and 2
  • Importance of using natural gesture
  • Basic understanding of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and total communication approach

Cost: $179 per person
NDIS funding can be used – please contact us if plan or agency managed on how to use funding.
Morning tea supplied, BYO lunch – microwave and fridge facilities, or 5 min drive to nearby food outlets.
