Calm and Connected aims to provide information and strategies to parents and teachers to support the development of their child. Sessions are designed to give parents and teachers strategies to implement in their daily routine. Our therapists support families and children through giving information, strategies and problem solving for specific goals.

Fees

Initial Appointment

  • Clinic based: $150
  • Home/school based Zone 1 (0-20mins from clinic): $165
  • Home/school based Zone 2 (20-40mins from clinic): $215
  • Home/school based Zone 3 (40mins+ from clinic): $265

Funding

Calm and Connected are registered to provide families services under the following funding bodies:

Medicare Rebates

To receive these rebates, make an appointment with your GP to discuss setting up a Team Care Arrangements (TCA) plan, as you may be eligible to receive allied health services under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan. This will provide you with a partial rebate for five allied health services per year. The rebate is currently $52.95 (April 2014). Private Health

Check with your Private Health Insurance provider to determine if you can receive a rebate for Occupational Therapy services.

Government Funding

We are registered to provide services under the following government schemes:
  • Helping Children with Autism and Better Start Funding
  • NDIS
  • WA NDIS
  • Commonwealth Respite Funding (for therapy intensive camps and school holiday programs)
